An accomplished football and track and field athlete, Eric Biddle left his mark on both programs at Juniata. He led the football team in receiving during his junior and senior seasons with 22 catches for 377 yards in 1980 and 32 receptions for 645 yards in 1981. He was tabbed as the most valuable player in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) at the conclusion of his final season at Juniata, making him one of only nine players who wore the blue and gold to earn the gridiron honor. In addition, he was named the recipient of Juniata's Dr. J. Harold Engle '23 Award as most valuable back in 1981. At the time of his induction, he had the seventh-highest single-game receiving yardage total in Juniata annals (197 yards vs. Lycoming in 1981). On the track and field scene, he won the MAC triple jump title in both 1981 and 1982 and still holds the College Hill record in the event with a leap of 48-6. He also qualified for the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championship in his senior season.
