The Juniata College Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1995 in an effort to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Juniata athletics program. An 11-person selection committee selects inductees biennially, but nominations may be submitted by anyone. The inaugural class of 20 was inducted on November 4, 1995.
Hall of Fame members may be former student-athletes, coaches, staff members, administrators or special friends of the athletics department. Honorees are recognized at a ceremony and banquet held each year. Enshrinement in the Juniata College Sports Hall of Fame is among the highest athletic honors the College bestows and the Hall's membership represents the finest ideals and achievements of Juniata varsity athletics.
