  • Landmark Conference Announces Spring All-Sportsmanship Team

    TOWSON, MD – Six Juniata student-athletes were selected to the Landmark Conference’s All-Sportsmanship Team.
  • Lucas Named Landmark Women’s Tennis Rookie and Player of the Year

    TOWSON, Pa.- Freshman Lauren Lucas (Holidaysburg, Pa./Altoona Area HS) has earned top honors from the Landmark Conference in women’s tennis. Lucas was named the Landmark Rookie and Player of the Year on Wednesday along with being named to the First Team. She is the first player in Juniata women’s tennis history to earn both accolades in the Landmark and the first player to do so in the conference since 2009.
  • Eagles Drop Thriller to Blue Jays in Landmark Championship 5-4

    ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- In a rematch of their showdown weeks ago, the Juniata and Elizabethtown women’s tennis teams faced off in the Landmark Championship match on Saturday afternoon. In a battle that went wire-to-wire and was decided by in the third set of the deciding match, the Blue Jays bested the Eagles 5-4 to win their second straight Landmark title and seventh straight overall.
  • Eagles Defeat Royals 5-3 In Landmark Semifinals

    CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- For the last two years, the Juniata and Scranton women’s teams have met in the Landmark Semifinals. On both occasions, the Royals have come out on the winning end. The third time proved to be the charm as the Eagles defeated the Royals 5-3 to advance to the Landmark Championship for the first time in program history.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women’s tennis match at Messiah College that was scheduled for today has been cancelled due to poor weather. It will not be rescheduled.
  • Juniata Breaks Ground On Winton Hill Athletic Complex

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- This past Saturday, ground was broken for the new Winton Hill Athletic Complex which will open this coming September. The $3.5 million construction project will create a new soccer and lacrosse field and stadium complex, as well as six tennis courts, locker rooms, and a press box.

    SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata women’s tennis team played its final Landmark Conference match of the season on Sunday afternoon against Scranton. The Royals got the better of the Eagles as they won by the score of 7-2.

    WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Juniata women’s tennis team won its fifth Landmark match of the season as the Eagles defeated Catholic 6-3 on Saturday afternoon. JC improves its overall record to 10-7.

  • Women ‘s Tennis Shuts Out Drew 9-0 On Senior Day

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- A day after dropping a close match with Elizabethtown, the Juniata women’s tennis team hosted Drew on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles took down the Rangers 9-0 to improve to 9-6 overall and 4-1 in the Landmark.

    ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Juniata women’s tennis team faced off with Elizabethtown in a battle two undefeated teams in Landmark play on Friday afternoon. It was a close and hard fought battled but the Eagles were felled by the Blue Jays by the score of 5-4.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women’s tennis team remained undefeated in Landmark play as they defeated Susquehanna 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon at Raffensberger Courts. The Eagles’ overall record improves to 8-5 and they are 3-0 in the Landmark.

    TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata women’s tennis team played Goucher in a rare Sunday afternoon match. The Eagles had no problem with the Gophers as they won 8-1.
  • Tennis Matches at Scranton Postponed

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. The Juniata men’s and women’s tennis matches at Scranton that were scheduled for this Saturday have been postponed due to the threat of inclement weather. Both matches will now be played on April 24 starting at 1 p.m.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women’s tennis team enters the 2016 season with plenty of promise. The Eagles are coming off their most successful season in program history a year ago as they went 14-6 overall and 5-2 in the Landmark Conference. Juniata was one point away from moving on to the Landmark Championship but did go on to win the inaugural ECAC Championship.
