Women’s Tennis Selected Third In Landmark Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference announced its preseason poll for women's tennis on Thursday. The Eagles have been picked third with a total of 46 points. They received one first place vote.

 

Elizabethtown, last year's conference champion, is the favorite to win the conference once again as they totaled 64 points and five first place votes. Scranton is second with 56 points and two first place votes. The rest of the poll can be viewed below.

 

Juniata is coming off its most successful season in its history last year as it finished 14-6 overall and 5-2 in the conference. The Eagles qualified for the Landmark Tournament for the third straight season and were one point away from reaching the championship game for the first time ever. JC went on to win the inaugural ECAC Championship.

 

Juniata begins the 2016 season at Salisbury on February 19. The Landmark portion of their schedule begins on March 26 against Moravian at home.
