HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's lacrosse team lost to the University of Scranton, 17-4, Sunday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium. 

Kelliann Drummond, Ella McGlaughlin, and Devyn Mauger each scored once, while Skyler Stevens had a goal and an assist. Mikayla Bodley made one save in goal, while Caoilinn Heatley came in and made seven saves in goal. 

The Royals scored the first five goals of the game, leading 5-0 10 minutes in. Stevens found Drummond on the left side of the goal, and she beat the keeper low to get JC on the board. 

Scranton scored the first three goals of the second quarter, with McGlaughlin scoring to make it 9-2 inside the final three minutes. Scranton scored one more as Juniata trailed by eight at the half. 

The Royals outscored Juniata 7-2 in the second half, with Mauger and Stevens scoring in the fourth quarter for JC. 

The Eagles will host Muhlenberg on Wednesday at 4:00.
