MECHANICSBURG, PA - The Juniata women's lacrosse team suffered a road loss at Messiah on Saturday with a final score of 17-6.
Messiah started out hot scoring eight straight goals until Skyler Stevens responded with a goal of her own in the 2nd quarter.
Juniata opened up the 3rd quarter with goals from Kyndall Yeager, Peyton Goodrich and Devyn Mauger to get within 6 of Messiah.
Yeager ended up with a hat trick after ending the 3rd and 4th quarter with two more goals.
Messiah outshot the eagles 32-10. Messiah converted four of their eight free position shots.
Juniata will continue their 2024-25 campaign with their home opener against Neumann on March 1st at 12:00 PM.
