Women's Lacrosse Defeated by St. Marys

Huntingdon, Pa – The Juniata women's lacrosse team suffered a 15-3 defeat against St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon.

St. Mary's started strong, building a 4-1 lead by the end of the first quarter. They continued their offensive surge in the second, outscoring Juniata 7-0 to take a commanding 11-1 lead into halftime. The third quarter was more balanced, with St. Mary's adding two goals and Juniata scoring one. However, the final quarter saw St. Mary's tacking on two more goals, while Juniata managed just one, resulting in a 15-3 final score.

For Juniata, Kelliann Drummond, Elayna Stubbe, and Skyler Stevens each scored once, but the offense struggled to break through St. Mary's defense. The Eagles also struggled with turnovers and control of the draw circle, winning just five draw controls compared to St. Mary's 14.
