TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata women's lacrosse team earned a program record five Landmark All-Conference selections as Grace Gibbs (midfielder), Peyton Goodrich (midfielder), and Maeve Kuser (defender) all earned First Team selections, while Kyndall Yeager (attacker) and Tess Ledeboer (defender) earned Second Team nods.
Grace Gibbs earned her fourth consecutive First Team selection following another impactful year in all facets of play for the Eagles. Among Landmark Conference players, she is second in goals per game (4.42), second in points per game (5.42), second in caused turnovers per game (2.63), fourth in ground balls per game (3.37), fifth in draw controls per game (4.74). Among DIII players, she is 18th in goals per game, 35th in caused turnovers per game, and 41st in points per game. Already the single-season program holder for points, goals, draw controls, she set new standards in each category with 85 goals, 104 points, and 90 draw controls. She also became the new program record holder for caused turnovers with 50. Gibbs became the first Eagle to earn 200 career points and 200 career goals earlier this season. In Tuesday's Landmark Conference quarterfinal match, she set a new single-game program record for points, with 12 coming via nine goals and three assists. The nine goals tied her personal record, which is also a program high.
Peyton Goodrich improved on a second-team selection in 2023 with a first-team selection in 2024. She ranked fourth among Landmark Conference players in goals per game (4.19), sixth in points per game (4.79), eighth in ground balls per game (2.63), and seventh in draw controls per game (4.53), and eighth in draw controls per game (1.53). Her 74 goals this season is the second most in a single season, as are her 91 points and 86 draw controls. Goodrich achieved a couple of career milestones this season as she became the second player in program history to break both 200 points, 200 goals, and 200 draw controls, joining Gibbs in each category. She also broke past the 100 ground ball threshold, joining Gibbs and Kuser.
Maeve Kuser played a pivotal role in maintaining the third-best defensive record in the Landmark Conference this season as she earned third All-Conference selection and back-to-back First Team selections. Kuser ranked third in the Landmark Conference in caused turnovers per game (2.53) and third in ground balls per game (3.53). Among DIII players, she was 45th in caused turnovers per game. Kuser became Juniata's new single-season record holder for ground balls with 67, while she joined Gibbs as the program's second player to have 100 caused turnovers.
Kyndall Yeager earned her first career All-Conference selection as she placed on the Second Team. Yeager was one of Juniata's key providers offensively, as she averaged the tenth-most assists per game (1.21) and the tenth-most points per game (4.05) among Landmark Conference players. She tied with Kelliann Drummond for the most assists for Juniata this year with 24, while she had the third most goals with 54 and third-most points with 78. The 24 assists tied her program record from last season which she now shares with Drummond. She also totaled 15 draw controls, ten ground balls, and seven caused turnovers. Earlier this season, she became the third Eagle to total 200 career points and the fourth to achieve 100 career goals. She had ten points via seven goals and three assists last month, which is tied for the second-most in a single game in program history.
Tess Ledeboer earned Second Team honors to place on an All-Conference team for the first time in her career, playing a key role in the Eagles' defensive output. She ranked seventh in caused turnovers per game (1.74), totaling 33 caused turnovers, 36 ground balls, and 67 draw controls. The 67 draw controls are the seventh most in a single season in program history, while the 33 caused turnovers put her ninth in program history.
