2014 Season-in-Review: Men’s Outdoor Track and FieldMay 21, 2014HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College men’s outdoor track and field team improved on its fourth place finish from last year to place third at the Landmark Conference Championships in 2014. It marked their sixth third place finish in seven years. They scored 38.5 more points at the championships than last year to hold onto third place.

Landmark Announces Spring Sportsmanship TeamsMay 14, 2014TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference has announced the final All-Sportsmanship Teams for the inaugural season of the award. In the fall of 2013 the leagues’ Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) established the sportsmanship award as a way to recognize those who are making an impact through their fair play on the field. The team includes one representative from each institution for each sport as chosen by their coaches and teammates.

40 Juniata Student-Athletes Earn Landmark Academic Honor RollMay 13, 2014TOWSON, Md. – For the second time during the 2013-14 season, 40 Juniata College student-athletes earned Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll standing, the league announced this morning. Juniata had 40 members on the fall honor roll and 29 after the winter season.

The men finished with 90 points behind first place Susquehanna University and seconds place Moravian College.

Bogdan, Men's Track and FieldMarch 20, 2014HUNTINGDON, Pa-Using running as a way to keep focused, student-athlete RJ Bogdan (Buffalo, N.Y. / Canisius High School) has become an important member of Juniata College track and field. He earned First-Team All- Landmark Conference honors for his winning performance in the distance medley relay during the Indoor Track and Field Landmark Championship meet in February 2014. He also received Second-Team all-conference honors in cross country for his 10th place finish during league championships in the fall of 2013. His success as a student-athlete continues from the track to the classroom.

Juniata Places 29 On Winter Landmark Honor RollMarch 11, 2014TOWSON, Md. – At the end of each season the Landmark Conference announces the Academic Honor Roll recognizing student-athletes that have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher. For Juniata College, 29 student-athletes from the men’s and women’s track and field team, the men’s and women’s basketball teams, and the women’s swimming team were recognized as honor roll members.
