TOWSON, Md. – At the end of each season the Landmark Conference announces the Academic Honor Roll recognizing student-athletes that have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher. For Juniata College, 29 student-athletes from the men’s and women’s track and field team, the men’s and women’s basketball teams, and the women’s swimming team were recognized as honor roll members.
Of those 29 awardees, 13 are repeat members and six seniors, Kate McDonald (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa./State College Area) of women’s basketball, Hillary Palmer (Fayetteville, Ga./Fayette County) of women’s swimming, Brian Scholly (State College, Pa./State College), Kevin Snyder (Indiana, Pa./Indiana), and Kevin Stapleton (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) of men’s basketball, and Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) of women’s track and field, all received the honor all three years of eligibility.
Eight of the Juniata student-athletes on the honor roll are also All-Landmark selections and five were chosen First-Team All-Conference.
