TOWSON, Md. – Junior Tyler Mandley (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) was named Landmark Conference outdoor track player of the week for his performance at the Juniata Invitational, the league announced this afternoon.

Mandley swept both hurdle events in the opening meet of the 2014 outdoor season. He won the 110 meter hurdles in a personal best time of 15.86 seconds. Mandley also placed first in the 400 meter hurdles in 57.22 seconds. This time would have been the fastest all season in 2013. Both times place him first on the Landmark Conference performance list for this season.

The men's track & field team will return to action on Saturday, March 29 when they compete in the Jim Taylor Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University beginning at 10 a.m.
