SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team lost on the road at the University of Scranton, 22-1, Saturday afternoon.
Eli Erickson scored for the Eagles, with Vincent Bechler providing the assist. Ryan Madison and Griffin Umstead each made six saves in goal.
Scranton controlled the first quarter, scoring eight unanswered goals.
They added two more in the second quarter, 27 seconds apart, before Erickson scored off the Bechler assist.
Scranton scored four more, including one inside the final 30 seconds, to close the half with the score 14-1.
The Royals added eight goals in the second half, four in each quarter.
Juniata returns to action next Saturday at home against Wilkes.
