Hagerstown, Md.- The Eagles took on the Black Rock Golf Club in the rain today. The Eagles finished fifth out of 13 different squads, shooting 311 on the 6,7848-yard, par-72 course.
Griffin Snowberger finished day one in a tie for 11th place, shooting 74 down in Maryland. Snowberger snagged two tough birdies to start out his round, finishing with four in total.
Kole Washleski followed up Snowberger by shooting a 77 in rainy conditions. Washleski grabbed a tied 24th place finish on day one while finding three birdies in his last five holes.
Ben Pintof shot 82 on a challenging track, matched with challenging conditions as well. Pintof finished in a tie for 43rd place after 18 holes of play.
Harrison Levithan finished in the clubhouse with an 81, securing nine pars. Levithan will dry out after day one in a tie for 38th place.
Elliot Lingle finished with a 79 after 18 holes at Black Rock Golf Club. Lingle found three birdies, including two on the last three holes, to finish day one in a tie for 32nd place.
The Eagles head back to Black Rock Golf Club for the Cardinal Classic in Hagerstown, Md., on Sunday to finish play.
