Hagerstown, Md.- Women's golf finished up their third event of the season in seventh place at Black Rock at the Catholic Cardinal Spring Classic, shooting 394 on the final day of competition to pair up with a 381 on day one of play.
Molly Schweitzer followed up a career-best of 88 yesterday, shooting a 97 in a stacked field. Schweitzer converted on a birdie attempt on hole 17, a 150-yard, par three to land her in a solo 27th-place finish.
Lily Stewart finished off strong, shooting 92 after posting an 88 the day prior. Stewart had a team-high 11 pars through two days of competition battling for a T22 finish overall.
Kylee Marshall finished the tournament in 31st place after improving by eight shots to shoot 95 on a challenging track. Marshall snagged a tough birdie on the second hole of the day.
Madeline Bainey faced adversity on the final day of the Cardinal Spring Classic, shooting a 110. Bainey collected a 34th-place finish.
Sandy Milby improved by 12 shots on day two to sit in the clubhouse with a 113 to her name. Milby secured a 36th-place finish after two days of work.
Women's golf competes next on April 21st in the Penn State Altoona Spring Invite at Sinking Valley Country Club.
