READING, Pa.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team lost on the road at Alvernia, 14-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Jacob Wallman had two goals while Vincent Bechler totaled two assists, six ground balls and a caused turnover. Reuben Stoll had a goal and a ground ball. Ryan Madison made 12 saves in goal, while Griffin Umstead made two.
The Golden Wolves struck four minutes in, and Wallman responded for the Eagles less than a minute later. The hosts scored three more in the first and four more in the second to lead 8-1 at halftime.
Alvernia scored the first two goals of the second half prior to Bechler finding Wallman to get one back for JC. Less than 20 seconds later, Bechler set up Stoll while the Eagles were a man up to make it 10-3.
The hosts struck four more times to complete the scoring.
Juniata returns to action at home against Penn College on Wednesday at 7:00.
