LEXINGTON, KY.- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Tuesday announced its 36th annual All-America Teams for Division III women’s volleyball. Seniors Nakita Gearhart (Waynesboro, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) and Kelly Reynolds (Upper Saint Clair, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) were both named to the First Team. This is Reynolds’ second straight First Team selection while it is Gearhart’s first.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va.- In order to advance to the next round of the NCAA Tournament, the Juniata women’s volleyball team needed to knock off a young but talented Mary Washington group on Sunday afternoon. In front of a raucous crowd at Ron Rosner Arena, JC unfortunately saw its season end as UMW won 3-1 to move on to Elite 8.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va.- Juniata women’s volleyball played a tough Johns Hopkins squad on Saturday afternoon in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Mary Washington’s Ron Rosner Arena. The Eagles were able to defeat the Blue Jays 3-1 (26-24, 21-15, 25-15, 25-21) and advance to tomorrow afternoon’s regional final for the second straight season.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va.- Juniata women’s volleyball began its journey to the 2016 NCAA Championship on Friday afternoon as it played Meredith College in the first round on the campus of Mary Washington. The Eagles defeated the Avenging Angels 3-0 (25-18, 25-9,25-21) to advance.

In addition, senior outside hitter Mar-Jana Phillips (Carson, Calif./Rolling Hills Prep) received an Honorable Mention.
TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon the 2016 All-Conference Women’s Volleyball Team. Juniata took all four of the top honors and had four named to the First Team and two selected to the Second Team.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The NCAA selection committee released the 64-team field for the upcoming Division III women’s volleyball national championship tournament on Monday. Juniata will travel to the campus of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va. for the regionals this Friday through Sunday Nov. 11-13. The Eagles secured their spot with a 3-0 win over Susquehanna in the Landmark Championship on Saturday night and will be making their 36th NCAA Tournament appearance.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced their 2016 Academic All-District™ Women's Volleyball Teams on Thursday which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Junior middle hitter Megan Moroney (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) was one of seven players in Division III in Pennsylvania to be named to the First Team. This is her second selection after being named to last year’s All-District Team.
TOWSON, Md. – The 2016-17 season marks the 10-year anniversary for the Landmark Conference. As part of the buildup to each sport's championship season, fans were asked to select their favorite moment from the first decade from a list created by members of the conference. Each winning moment will be announced prior to the conference championship.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata hosted Scranton in the semifinals of the Landmark Tournament on Wednesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles were able to defeat the Royals 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-19) and advance to the championship for the 10th straight year.
ALLIANCE, OHIO- The Juniata women’s volleyball team concluded its regular season with a match against Otterbein on Saturday afternoon. The two teams were tied at 1-1 but the Eagles came back to take the last two sets and win 3-1 (25-12, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20).
ALLIANCE, Ohio- The Juniata women’s volleyball team embarked on its final regular season road trip of the season on Friday as the Eagles played host Mount Union. JC took out the Purple Raiders in three sets (25-13, 26-24, 25-20).
GOUCHER, MD- In celebration of the Landmark Conference’s 10th anniversary, a Women’s Volleyball All-Decade Team has been put together consisting of players that have stood out over the past 10 years. Current Eagles Nakita Gearhart and Kelly Reynolds were named along with former student-athletes Amber Thomas, Kristin Noetzel, Libby Morrison, Megan Sollenberger, and Steph Strauss.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata women’s volleyball hosted its final two regular season matches on the second day of the Wid Guisler Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles defeated Geneva in their first match 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-15) and dropped a 3-1 decision to #7 Emory in the nightcap (21-15, 25-17, 15-15, 19-25).

In day two of the Chicago Invite on Saturday, Oct. 8, Juniata women's volleyball walked away with a 3-1 victory. The Eagles defeated University of Chicago 25-17, 20-25, 25-23, 25-19.
CHICAGO, IL.- Juniata women’s volleyball played a pair of matches at the University of Chicago Invite on Friday. In the first match of the day for the Eagles, they defeated Aurora 3-1 (25-16, 25-27, 25-13, 25-16.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata women’s volleyball hosted St. Vincent on Tuesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles handled the Bobcats with ease as they won 3-0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-8).
TOWSON, Md.- Sophomore defensive specialist Katie Byrne (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) was named the Landmark Conference Women’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week on Monday. This is the first weekly recognition of her career.
SELINSGROVE, Pa.- Juniata women’s volleyball played the second round of Landmark competition on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles picked up two wins with 3-0 victories against Moravian and Elizabethtown. Juniata’s overall record is now 11-5 and 4-0 in the Landmark.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata women’s volleyball hosted Bethany on Friday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles needed just over an hour to defeat the Bison 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-12). The win improves Juniata’s record to 9-5 while Bethany evens its record at 11-11.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata women’s volleyball hosted a non-conference match with Clarion University from Division II on Tuesday night. The Eagles hung with the Golden Eagles in a back and forth match but Clarion outlasted JC in the end 3-2 (17-25, 25-20, 25-21, 20-25, 15-12).
SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata women’s volleyball team looked to end its four-match winless streak as it began Landmark play on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles proved that they are still are the team to beat as it knocked off Susquehanna 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-21) and host Scranton 3-1 (21-25, 25-14, 25-12, 25-9).
