  • Women’s Soccer Ties Catholic in Season Finale

    WASHINGTON, DC- The Juniata women’s soccer team stood its ground against the top squad in the Landmark Conference in Catholic as the two teams played to a 1-1 tie on Saturday afternoon. Juniata ends its season with a final record of 6-9-3 and 1-4-2 in the conference while the Cardinals are 13-1-3 and 6-0-1 in the Landmark.
  • Women’s Soccer Holds off Pitt-Greensburg 3-1 in Home Finale

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Cheyenne Brown (Tunkhannock, PA/Tunkhannock) scored twice for Juniata late in the second half as women’s soccer defeated Pitt-Greensburg 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. It was the final home game of the season for the Eagles.
  • Women’s Soccer Loses Heartbreaker to Goucher, 1-0

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Despite leading in shots by a 2-1 margin, the Juniata women’s soccer team found itself on the wrong end of the scoreboard as visiting Goucher scored on a penalty kick in overtime to win 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. The loss drops the Eagles to 5-9-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the Landmark. Goucher picks up its first conference victory to move to 1-5 and 4-11-1 overall.
  • Women’s Soccer Shuts Down Mt. Aloysius, 3-0

    CRESSON, PA- The Juniata women’s soccer team scored three times in the first half and halted its four-game winless streak with a 3-0 victory over Mount Aloysius on Wednesday afternoon. The win moves the Eagles to 5-8-2 overall while the Mounties fall to 7-9.
  • Crusaders Defeats Eagles, 2-0

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Juniata women’s soccer led visiting Susquehanna in shots 13-9 but the Crusaders made good on two of them to come away with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. SU improves to 5-9-2 overall while the Eagles are now 4-8-2. Both teams are 1-3-1 in the Landmark Conference.
  • Women’s Soccer Drops Heartbreaker to Moravian in Overtime, 2-1

    HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata women’s soccer team hosted Moravian on Saturday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. The Eagles scored first but the Greyhounds tied to forced overtime and hit the game-winner 4:35 into the extra period to come away with a 2-1 win. The loss drops JC to 4-6-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the Landmark. Moravian.
  • Leonard Named Landmark Women’s Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week

    TOWSON, MD- The Landmark Conference announced its Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon. Freshman goalkeeper Kerry Leonard (Cockeysville, MD/Maryvale Prep.) was tabbed as the Defensive Athlete of the Week. It is the first of her career.

    SCRANTON, PA- Despite being outshot 18-4 in the game, the Juniata women’s soccer team’s defense held firm as the Eagles and Scranton Royals played to a 0-0 tie on Saturday afternoon at Fitzpatrick Field. JC’s record now stands at 4-5-2 overall and 1-0-1 in the Landmark Conference while the Royals are 5-4-2 and also 1-0-1 in the conference.
  • Juniata-Westminster Women’s Soccer Match Called Due to Lightning

    HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata College women's soccer team played Westminster College on Tuesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field to a 0-0 draw before lightning struck in the 60th minute. The game was delayed for nearly an hour before the match was cancelled.

    HUNTINGDON, PA- The women’s soccer team broke out in a big way as it scored three first half goals and dominated visiting Drew 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in the Landmark Conference opener for both teams at Winton Hill Field. The Eagles improve to 4-5-1 while the Rangers fall to 3-5.

    LATROBE, PA- Freshman Lauren Lock (Mifflintown, PA/Juniata) scored her first career goal for the game-winner as the Juniata women’s soccer team halted its three-game winless streak with a 1-0 victory over St. Vincent on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles are now 3-5-1 on the season while the Bearcats fall to 0-8.

Pitt-Bradford remains undefeated at 4-0 while the Eagles fall to 2-4 overall.

    GLENSIDE, PA- Olivia Claycomb’s (Saxton, PA/Sussey Mountain) goal in the 75th minute was all that the women’s soccer team needed as the Eagles shutout DeSales University 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Arcadia University’s Easton Field. The win halts a two-game winless streak for Juniata as its record improves to 2-3 overall. The Bulldogs fall to 0-3-1.
  • Women’s Soccer Falls to Arcadia

    GLENSIDE, PA- The Juniata women’s soccer team surrendered two early goals in the first half against Arcadia University and hung with the hosts until almost midway through the second half. The Knights added three goals within a 17-minute span in the second frame on its way to a 5-0 win on Saturday afternoon at the Arcadia Fall Classic.

    HUNTINGDON, PA- The 2013 season for the Juniata women’s soccer team proved to the most successful in the program’s 20 year history. The Eagles went 14-6 to set a new record for wins and scored a team-record 65 goals. The motivation for head coach Scott McKenzie’s team in 2014 is to take steps forward and not back.
