Juniata ends its season with a final record of 6-9-3 and 1-4-2 in the conference while the Cardinals are 13-1-3 and 6-0-1 in the Landmark.

Women’s Soccer Holds off Pitt-Greensburg 3-1 in Home FinaleOctober 29, 2014HUNTINGDON, PA- Cheyenne Brown (Tunkhannock, PA/Tunkhannock) scored twice for Juniata late in the second half as women’s soccer defeated Pitt-Greensburg 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. It was the final home game of the season for the Eagles.

Women’s Soccer Loses Heartbreaker to Goucher, 1-0October 25, 2014HUNTINGDON, PA- Despite leading in shots by a 2-1 margin, the Juniata women’s soccer team found itself on the wrong end of the scoreboard as visiting Goucher scored on a penalty kick in overtime to win 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. The loss drops the Eagles to 5-9-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the Landmark. Goucher picks up its first conference victory to move to 1-5 and 4-11-1 overall.

Aloysius, 3-0October 22, 2014CRESSON, PA- The Juniata women’s soccer team scored three times in the first half and halted its four-game winless streak with a 3-0 victory over Mount Aloysius on Wednesday afternoon. The win moves the Eagles to 5-8-2 overall while the Mounties fall to 7-9.

Crusaders Defeats Eagles, 2-0October 21, 2014HUNTINGDON, PA- Juniata women’s soccer led visiting Susquehanna in shots 13-9 but the Crusaders made good on two of them to come away with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. SU improves to 5-9-2 overall while the Eagles are now 4-8-2. Both teams are 1-3-1 in the Landmark Conference.

Women’s Soccer Drops Heartbreaker to Moravian in Overtime, 2-1October 11, 2014HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata women’s soccer team hosted Moravian on Saturday afternoon at Winton Hill Field. The Eagles scored first but the Greyhounds tied to forced overtime and hit the game-winner 4:35 into the extra period to come away with a 2-1 win. The loss drops JC to 4-6-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the Landmark. Moravian.

Freshman goalkeeper Kerry Leonard (Cockeysville, MD/Maryvale Prep.) was tabbed as the Defensive Athlete of the Week. It is the first of her career.

Juniata-Westminster Women’s Soccer Match Called Due to LightningSeptember 30, 2014HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata College women's soccer team played Westminster College on Tuesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field to a 0-0 draw before lightning struck in the 60th minute. The game was delayed for nearly an hour before the match was cancelled.

The Eagles went 14-6 to set a new record for wins and scored a team-record 65 goals. The motivation for head coach Scott McKenzie’s team in 2014 is to take steps forward and not back.
