Gibbs, Goodrich & Kuser Named to IWLCA Boardwalk All-Region Team

Gibbs, Goodrich & Kuser Named to IWLCA Boardwalk All-Region Team

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Juniata women's lacrosse team had three players named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association 2024 Division III Boardwalk All-Region Team. Grace Gibbs was named to the First Team, while Peyton Goodrich and Maeve Kuser were named to the Second Team.

Grace Gibbs makes her first appearance following another impactful year in all facets of play for the Eagles. Among DIII players, she is 19th in goals per game, 36th in caused turnovers per game, and 40th in points per game. Already the single-season program holder for points, goals, and draw controls, she set new standards in each category with 89 goals, 109 points, and 90 draw controls. She also became the new program record holder for caused turnovers with 50. Gibbs became the first Eagle to earn 200 career points and 200 career goals earlier this season.

Peyton Goodrich's strong season continues as she nabbed a second-team spot. Her 78 goals this season are the second most in a single season, as are her 95 points and 89 draw controls. Goodrich achieved a couple of career milestones this season as she became the second player in program history to break 200 points, and 200 draw controls, joining Gibbs in both category. She also broke past the 100 ground ball threshold, joining Gibbs and Kuser.

Maeve Kuser complimented her second consecutive Landmark Conference first-team selection with an all-region second-team honor. Among DIII players, she was 45th in caused turnovers per game. She joined Gibbs as the program's second player to have 100 caused turnovers.

It was a banner year for the program as they won a program-best 15-5, reached the Landmark Conference Semifinals, and won the ECAC Championship.

The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III by selecting them to one of the All-Region teams for 2024. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team.
