DELAWARE, Pa.- The Juniata women's golf team played on day one of the Landmark Conference Fall Preview from the par 72 Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort on Saturday afternoon.
Juniata's for the fall preview comprised Sofia Amoroso, Alyssa Mostick, Lily Stewart, Sandy Milby, and Kylee Marshall.
Amoroso had the team's best scoring, posting a 90 to finish day one in eighth place from a field of 36. She was better on the front nine, going +6. Stewart had the team's next-best score, finishing tied for 16th with a 98. Mostick finished in 24th place with a 107, while Marshall completed the team score with a tally of 111, tied for 25th place. Milby finished the day with a 117.
Juniata finished day one in fifth place with a score of 406. They'll start tomorrow six strokes behind fourth place Goucher College and 18 strokes back from third place Drew.
The Juniata women's golf team will wrap up their fall with the second day of the Landmark Fall Preview tomorrow morning, with tee times commencing at 7:30 a.m.
