HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The women's lacrosse team improved to 3-1 on Thursday with a dominant 22-1 victory over Wilson College. The result was their second win of the week after having beaten Marian University on Tuesday.
Freshman Peyton Goodrich (Reading, Pa. / Berks Catholic) led the Eagles in scoring with four on the day, while also adding two assists for a career-high six point game.

Grace Gibbs (Arnold, Md. / Broadneck) finished just behind her, with five points total from two goals and three assists.

Contributing two goals apiece were Shayla Lapp (Lancaster, Pa. / Lampeter-Strasburg), Talia Bertrando (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick), Shannon Para (Alexandria, Va. / West Potomac), Kelliann Drummond (Lancaster, Pa. / Lampeter-Strasburg), Isabella Michener (Randolph, N.J. / Randolph), and Paige Riker (Sussex, N.J. / Vernon Township). Single goal tallies came from Samantha Hall (Irwin, Pa. / Hempfield Area), Aspen Handel (Richboro, Pa. / Bucks County), Megan McConnell (Saint Leonard, Md. / Calvert), and Kyndall Yeager (Westminster, Md. / South Carroll). Bertrando and freshman Maeve Kuser (Upperco, Md. / Hereford) would tie to lead the team in groundball pickups with three each.
Goalie Chloe Gerhard (Macungie, Pa. / Emmaus) earned her third win of the season, putting up a three-save shutout in her thirty minutes in net.
The Eagles next game will take them on the road, as they travel to take on Bridgewater College on Tuesday, March 15th at 4:00 PM.
