HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The women's lacrosse team earned a comprehensive victory on Tuesday afternoon, beating Marian University by a final score of 22-2. The victory sees the Eagles move to 2-1 on the young season.
Juniata had numerous contributors on offense, highlighted by three-goal performances from Grace Gibbs (Arnold, Md. / Broadneck) and Michaela Naccarini (Westminster, Md. / Winters Mill). Kyndall Yeager (Westminster, Md. / South Carroll), Gwen DeLeva (Havre de Grace, Md. / Havre de Grace), Kelliann Drummond (Lancaster, Pa. / Lampeter-Strasburg), and Paige Riker (Sussex, N.J. / Vernon Township) each added two goals apiece. Adding single tallies to the goal total were Shayla Lapp (Lancaster, Pa. / Lampeter-Strasburg), Talia Bertrando (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick), Peyton Goodrich (Reading, Pa. / Berks Catholic), Shannon Para (Alexandria, Va. / West Potomac), Isabella Michener (Randolph, N.J. / Randolph), Lillian Case (Reading, Pa. / Wilson), Tess Ledeboer (Orefield, Pa. / Northwestern Lehigh), and Samantha Hall (Irwin, Pa. / Hempfield Area).

Ledeboer led the team with two assists, while Bertrando, Goodrich, Michener, and Riker all had single assist performances. Chloe Gerhard (Macungie, Pa. / Emmaus) earned her second win of the season, needing only one save to get it done.
Juniata will return to Gibbel Stadium on Thursday, March 10th to host Wilson College at 4 PM.
