    TOWSON, Md. – At the end of each season the Landmark Conference announces the Academic Honor Roll recognizing student-athletes that have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher. This year, Juniata has placed 40 student-athletes on the fall honor roll, up from 37 on year ago.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College men's and women's cross country teams are gearing up for the Landmark Conference Championship meet in Washington, D.C. Saturday, November 2. Catholic University is hosting the meet at the United States Soldiers and Airmen's Home. The women kick off the competition with a 6-kilometer race at 11 a.m. The men's 8-kilometer race follows at 12 p.m.

The pair were both named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South runners of the week, the organization announced earlier this week.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Seniors Nate Alter (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) and Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) of the Juniata College cross country team were named Landmark Conference Runners of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is the first time since 2009 that Juniata has swept the cross country honors. The pair broke program records at the Lock Haven Invitational last Saturday, running the fastest times of any Landmark student-athlete this season.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – After three weeks of action in the fall season Juniata College Athletics stands at a staggering 31-3-1 across five sports. Four sports are currently undefeated and sit atop their respective conference standings. The tennis and cross country programs do no record a team record in ball, but have been competing strongly.

    WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Juniata College men’s and women’s cross country teams ran at the Catholic University Cross Country Invite on Saturday and saw two finish top 10 overall in the 6K. Senior Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) placed third out of 53 runners and senior Nate Alter (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) finished 10th in a field of 73. Six other schools ran at the meet, including three Landmark Conference (Catholic, Goucher, and Moravian), and two Division I programs (American and George Washington).

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – In his 14th season at the helm, head coach Jon Cutright helped the Juniata College men and women’s cross country teams make great strides in maintaining a competitive presence within the Landmark Conference. The men improved on their championship performance from 2011 to earn fourth place, while the women sat just five points behind second place to secure third for the third time in the past four years.
  • Landmark Announces First-Annual Sportsmanship Teams
    TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference has announced the formation of the Landmark All-Sportsmanship Team created by the conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The teams include one student-athlete from each institution for each sport selected by the players and coaches from their respective teams.
