  • Kraft and Schmidt named to EIVA All-Academic Team

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College sophomore setter Mike Kraft (York, Pa./Eastern York) and sophomore outside hitter Matt Schmidt (Catonsville, Md./Mount St. Joseph) have been named to the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) All-Academic Team.
  • Two Juniata Players Honored with AVCA Division III All-America Award

    LEXINGTON, Ky. –Juniata Seniors, Anthony Damiano and Zach Wanner were named to the AVCA Division III Men’s Volleyball All-America teams announced on April 12, 2010. Damiano clinched First Team All-America laurels, while Wanner made Second Team All-America. All selections were made by the AVCA Men’s Division III Volleyball All-America Committee.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.—Juniata College men’s volleyball helped its EIVA playoff chances alive by defeating Princeton University, 3-2, Friday night at the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center. After the Eagles took sets one and two, the Tigers fought their way back winning sets three and four, but in the end Juniata came out on top.

    HOBOKEN, N.J. – Juniata College middle hitters Evan Halteman (Perkiomenville, Pa./Christopher Dock) and Ben Wolff (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) hit a combined .492 for the match and led the Eagles with 17 and 16 respectively, leading the number one-ranked Eagles to a 3-2 win over Stevens Institute of Technology, Friday night at Canavan Arena.
