HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata women's volleyball player Mackenzie Coley was selected as the Juniata Women's Athlete of the Month for the month of October, as voted upon by members of the athletic department.
The senior put together an excellent October as she averaged over four points per set, hit .455 with 101 kills and 11 total blocks with three aces. She had double-digit kills in six matches as Juniata was a perfect 12-0 on the month (including seven conference victories), sweeping every match.
The Juniata women's volleyball team will host a Landmark Semifinal match, this Thursday at 7:00 pm. They will play the winner of the winner of Susquehanna University (#4) vs Catholic University (#5).
About Juniata Athlete of the Month Award:
This academic year, we have introduced the Juniata Athlete of the Month recognition as voted upon by the athletic department. Athletes are only allowed to win once per academic year. The purpose of these awards is to recognize the hard work and effort of our student-athletes.
