-Selinsgrove, PA – The Juniata women's track and field team competed at the Susquehanna Tune-up hosted by Susquehanna University on Friday afternoon. This is the Eagles last competition before Landmark Championships next weekend.
Olivia Barbacci set the school record in the pole vault with a 3.51-meter jump securing first place. Barbacci also set the school record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.87.
In the 60-meter dash preliminary round, Barbacci finished in 4th place with a time of 8.20. Gracie French placed 6th with a time of 8.27. Bri Spencer crossed the line in 8.50 finishing in 11th place.
In the 60-meter dash final French took 2nd place with a time of 8.26.
Finishing back-to-back in 6th and 7th place was Rebecca Christophel and Camille McRoberts running times of 2:30.56 and 2:30.86 in the 800 meters.
French placed 6th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.77 and Spencer ran 28.98 and finished in 15thplace.
Olivia Brenneman ran 12:07.44 in the 3000 for a 6th place finish.
The Juniata "A" relay of Christophel, McRoberts, Alfree and Spencer completed the relay in 4:27.99 finishing in 2nd place.
Barbacci won the high jump clearing 1.58 meters. Ashley Alfree placed 4th with a best jump of 1.48.
Chloe Sauer placed 14th in the weight throw with a throw of 11.18 and 9th in the shot put with a throw of 10.26.
Spencer finished 9th in the long jump with a best jump of 4.65 meters.
