Eagles Contend at Franklin and Marshall

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Juniata women's track and field team competed at the Coach I Invitational at Franklin and Marshall College on Saturday afternoon.  

Olivia Barbacci took fifth in the 200m (27.14), Rebecca Christophel was 24th (29.08), Zoe Biles finished 35th(30.20), Breanne Spencer set a personal record and took 37th (30.34), Ashley Alfree was 38th as she ran a season-best (30.49), Selin Yalcinanahater was 44th (31.99) and Sarah Moran was 45th (36.23). 

In the pole vault, Barbacci claimed third with a PR (3.33m), the 54th best mark in Division III right now. Josie Kelly took 15th with a pr (2.73m) and Rae Wright was 27th (2.28m). 

Cecelia Williams was 25th in the 400m (1:13.52).  

Camille McRoberts took 17th in the 800m (2:37.20), Chloe Reilley PR'd and took 37th (2:49.86), Olivia Brenneman took 42nd (2:54.16), Williams was 44th (2:57.69) and Kya Lester was 47th (3:22.55).  

Brenneman placed 38th with a PR in the one mile (6:17.39), and Lester placed 54th (7:28.39).  

Alfree took 10th in the high jump (1.42m), Kelly and Jackie Bryant tied for 24th (1.27m). 

In the long jump, Spencer took 24th (2.42m), Kelly was 26th (4.20m), Bryant jumped her way to 34th (4.01m), Haley Mummah leaped to 35th (3.99m), and Wright was 38th (3.68m).

Chloe Sauer took 17th in the shot put (10.08m), and Paytan Henry was 49th (7.56m).  

Bryant was 19th in the triple jump (8.57m), and Mummah was right behind her in 20th (8.54m). 

In the weight throw, Sauer was 33rd (9.51m), Henry threw her way to 35th (8.91m), and Justice Sheaffer was 45th ((7.36m). 

Christophel, Barbacci, Alfree, and McRoberts took 10th in the 4x400m with a season-best 4:41.68. 

The Eagles will compete next Friday at Youngstown State.
