SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata women's indoor track & field team finished fifth with 27 points overall at the Landmark Conference Championships hosted by Susquehanna University.
In the 5000m, Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass. / Methuen HS) claimed second breaking the Juniata record with a time of 18:13.72 to land her on the Landmark All-Conference team. In the shot put, Lauren Hahn (Doylestown, Pa, / CB West) took first throwing 10.98m. Hahn also lands herself on the Landmark All-Conference team.
in the 3000m run, Kalil took third with a time of 10:35.98, Abbie Echard (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) finished 29th with a time of 12:14.87, and Alexis Barge (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick) finished 30th with a time of 12:18.17. In the mile, Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff HS) finished ninth with a time of 5:37.84.
In the 60m dash, Holly Caldwell (Milford, Conn. / Jonathan Law) finished 20th with a time of 9.02 while Sabrina Kelly (Gilberstville, Pa. / Boyertown Area HS) finished 21st coming in with a time of 9.65. In the 200m dash, Caldwell finished 23rd clocking in at 30.96 and Kelly finished 24th with a time of 33.25.
The Eagles 4x400m relay, finished sixth clocking in at 4:42.61. In the distance medley relay, the team finished fifth with a time of 14:17.43.
in the shot put, Marylauren Davignon (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) placed eighth marking 8.77m. In the weight throw, Hahn took eighth marking 11.55m while Davignon placed 15th marking 9.20m.
