SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata women's indoor track & field team competed at the SU Orange & Maroon Classic hosted by Susquehanna, Saturday.
In the mile, Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass. / Methuen HS) claimed third with a time of 5:21.66 while Abbie Echard (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) finished 27th with a time of 6:18.24. Kalil's mile time moves her to number three all-time in the Juniata record book.
In the 60m dash, Holly Caldwell (Milford, Conn. / Jonathan Law) finished 21st with a time of 9.15 and Sabrina Kelly (Gilberstville, Pa. / Boyertown Area HS) finished 32nd with a time of 10.04. In the 200m dash, Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff HS) finished 27th coming in with a time of 30.60 while Kelly finished 36th with a time of 36.11. In the 800m run, Kalil finished eighth crossing the line at 2:35.02, Freimuth finished 12th with a time of 2:38.20, and Echard finished 21st with a time of 2:48.22.
In the field, Marylauren Davignon (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) placed 16th marking 9.61m. In the shot put, Davignon placed 27th throwing 8.20m.
