ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Juniata women's tennis team opened their spring season with a 7-0 win at Elizabethtown College on Sunday afternoon.
Medina Yessenaliyeva and Celia Navarro de Torres won the first doubles 6-3, Sydney Madlock and Charley Madlock won the second doubles 6-2, and Nina Meadows and Katie Wagoner won the third doubles 6- 0.
Yessenaliyeva won at first singles 6-2, 6-1, Navarro de Torres won 6-2, 6-0 at second singles, while S. Madlock won 6-2, 6-0 at third singles. Meadows picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory in fourth singles, C. Madlock won 6-2, 6-0 at fifth singles while Shveta Kalathur won 6-3, 6-3 at six singles.
The Eagles will return to action at Penn State Altoona on March 4 at 5:00.
