WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Juniata women's soccer team left scoreless on their trip to King's on Wednesday evening as they were overpowered 2-0 at McCarthy Stadium. 

The Monarchs dominated in shots 15-3, managing seven on goal as opposed to the Eagles' one.
King's scratched their name into the scorecard early into the first half, just under eight minutes in.

Emma Greggo attempted a shot in the 23^rd minute, but the Monarch goalie was able to defend the net. Alyssa Bui's shot was blocked by a defender in the 33^rd minute, and the Eagles ended the half down 1-0 against King's.

Juniata's final effort by Lina Rahman went high of the goal in the 53^rd minute. The Monarchs put the ball in the back of the net in the 63^rd minute of the game to push their lead to 2-0 against JC.

Avery Zales ended the game with five saves. 

The Eagles look to bounce back Saturday, September 17, at Hood at 4:00 pm.
