The Royals scored the first five goals over the opening nine minutes of play before an unassisted Bertrando goal got the Eagles on the board.

The Royals followed with two more goals to make it 7-1 with just under 11 minutes to play. Bertrando scored her second on a free position goal while the Eagles were a women up.

Scranton scored with just under six minutes to play before Gibbs scored two goals, one assisted by Metz and the other by Bertrando, to make it 8-4. Scranton struck twice more, including a goal while a woman down on a free position shot with five seconds to go in the half to make it 10-4 at the break.

Scranton scored nine straight goals in the second half before Andrea Insalaco went the length of the field and scored for JC.
