Huntingdon, Pa – The Juniata men's soccer team came from behind to defeat the Mt. Aloysius Mounties 3-1 on Friday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium. The Eagles are now 3-1 on the season.
Mt. Aloysius scored in the 20th minute, and Juniata had a couple of opportunities to equalize but were unable to convert.
After half, the Eagles fought through 72 minutes of physical play before a Jalen Holliday goal from outside the right box tied the game up 1-1.
In the 76th minute, Beckett Young headed in a pass from Harshaan Grewal just in front of the net to give the Eagles the lead.

An 80th-minute penalty in the box allowed Nathan Weick to put the Eagles up 3-1 off the penalty shot.
Juniata led the match ten shots to eight. Maxwell Mattioni had three saves on four shots on goal.
The Eagles will face SUNY Canton at Gibbel Stadium on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
