DANBURY, Conn.- The Juniata College men's basketball team earned a spot in the 2022 ECAC Division III Men's Basketball Championship, entering as the seventh seed.
The Eagles will host #1 Alvernia University (19-8) of the Middle Atlantic Conference on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Memorial Gymnasium. The winner will then travel to #2 Alfred University to take on the winner of pod four, Neumann University vs Manhattanville College.
Juniata will serve as the Landmark Conference's sole representative in the ECAC Tournament this year.
The other three pods are as follows:
No. 4 Neumann University with host No. 5 Manhattanville College. No. 3 Carnegie Mellon plays host to No. 6 Allegheny College. No. 2 Alfred receives a bye and awaits the winner of Carnegie Mellon vs. Allegheny.
The winners of the three first-round games will go on to compete in the semifinals on Saturday, March 4, at Alfred University.
