Tim Berguson is strong post player who will look to add toughness and depth to the forward position this season. His strength and work ethic make him a solid offensive and defensive rebounder. Tim has had a good offseason and will look to make continual strides this season on all aspects of his game.
2010-2011: Berguson totaled 27 points in the 16 games he played in as a sophomore...shot 56.5% from the floor...grabbed 35 rebounds and seven assists for the Eagles...had a career best of seven points in the first game of the season against Carnegie Mellon on January 15...grabbed five rebounds against Penn-State Mont Alto on January 19.
2009-2010: Played in 14 games, all off the bench as a freshman... totaled eight points and 17 rebounds, eight of which were on the offensive glass, on the year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Scored over 1,200 points and gathered just under 800 rebounds while being a four-year letter winner... averaged 18.9 points and 13.6 rebounds per game as a senior... was honored as the Northern Tier League Offensive Player of the Year, as well as a Third Team All-State selection in 2009... named First Team All Northern Tier League, Sungazette, and Stargazette as a junior and senior.
PERSONAL: Son of Bruce and Margaret Berguson... POE is physics and mathematics.
