2010 Season: Totaled 53 points off of 11 goals and eight assists...ranked 12th all-time at Juniata for her points in the 2010 season...Started every game out of the 23 she played...scored twice in the Landmark Conference championship versus Catholic University...scored first in the game and also had a good penalty stroke to gain a larger 3-1 lead...finished a penalty stroke in the first round of the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship versus The College of Wooster to send Juniata into the second round.
2009 Season: Shauna started every game out of the 21 she played. She had a total of 22 shots, contributing to Juniata's title of most shots per game. She had 11 points throughout the season with 5 goals and 1 assist. Her goals contributed to Juniata's record of the highest scoring margin in the conference. Shauna ranked third on her team for number of points as well as goals.
Shauna Deschenes went to Susquenita High School where she played field hockey, basketball, and softball. At Juniata she plays field hockey because she "loves the team aspect and winning as a team is much more rewarding than winning as an individual." Shauna played in 21 games and started 14 while contributing three assists for the Eagles in 2008. Her POE is Biology.
