Bio

Erynn Anderson was named head coach of the women's lacrosse program in October 2025. Anderson becomes the fourth head coach in program history, bringing nearly two decades of experience across collegiate and high school levels to Huntingdon.

Anderson most recently served as the head varsity coach for Liverpool High School (N.Y.), where she led the program from 2018 through 2024. During her tenure, she oversaw the development of players across grades 7–12, implemented off-season training programs, and guided multiple athletes through the college recruitment process. Anderson also managed staff, fundraising, and community engagement efforts while organizing summer youth lacrosse camps for grades K–12.

Prior to her time at Liverpool, Anderson built a strong collegiate coaching résumé with stops at Alfred University, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, SUNY Maritime College, and SUNY Morrisville, as well as St. Bonaventure University and SUNY Fredonia.

While serving as head coach at Alfred University (2014–17), Anderson also worked as an admissions liaison and first-year student success advisor, emphasizing holistic student development. She oversaw alumni engagement, fundraising, and social media growth while serving on the university's Judicial Board and as advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

At SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Anderson founded the women's lacrosse program and also launched the men's and women's cross country teams, demonstrating her leadership in building new athletic opportunities from the ground up. Her earlier coaching experiences at SUNY Maritime, SUNY Morrisville, and SUNY Fredonia further shaped her expertise in recruitment, program management, and academic support for student-athletes.

A two-time graduate of Fredonia State University (SUNY), Anderson earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English, with an emphasis on research, theory, and criticism. She is CPR/AED and First Aid certified and is experienced with a wide range of coaching and administrative technologies, including ARMS, Front Rush, and SIDEARM.
