    KINGS POINT, N.Y. – Juniata College earned 29 more points on the final day of competition and finished in seventh place with 106 points at the 2009 Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, which concluded Sunday night in Kings Point, N.Y.

    KINGS POINT, N.Y – Juniata College sophomore Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) finished fourth overall in the 100 yard Breaststroke, the best individual finish by an Eagle thus far in the Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships and the Juniata highlight of day two results at the meet in Kings Point, N.Y. The United States Merchant Marine Academy is serving as the host institution for the event.
  • Cooper and relay squads earn points on day one of Landmark Swimming Championships

    KINGS POINT, N.Y. – Juniata College sophomore Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) finished 10th in the finals of the 50 yard freestyle, while two Eagle relay teams also scored points to highlight day one results at the Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, which opened Friday. The championships are being held at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Sophomore Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) and freshman Evan Beatty (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) each posted a pair of individual first-place finishes to lead the Juniata College women’s swimming team to a 107-83 win over Penn State-Altoona, Saturday afternoon at Juniata’s Binder Natatorium in Huntingdon, Pa.
  • Women’s swimming takes on Susquehanna in season’s first home meet

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s swimming team enjoyed the home pool advantage for the first time in the 2008-09 season, but it was not enough to post a victory as the Eagles dropped a 115-62 decision to Susquehanna University, Wednesday night in Huntingdon, Pa.

    TOWSON, Md. – Sophomore Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) and senior Kristin Musselman (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) finished first and second in the 50 Freestyle, to lead Juniata College finishers in a tri-meet with Landmark Conference rivals Goucher College and the University of Scranton, Saturday afternoon in Towson, Md.
