Women's Lacrosse to Dedicate Game Against Catholic to the One Love Foundation

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- As part of Juniata's celebration of Division III Week and recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Juniata Women's Lacrosse team will be dedicating it's game against Catholic this Saturday, April 10 to the mission of the One Love Foundation. The team will wearing warm up shirts with the One Love Foundation logo and encouraging fans to learn more about and consider donating to the Foundation by visiting www.joinonelove.org.

The One Love Foundation, which was founded in 2010, educates young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse and learn how to love better. One Love was founded in honor of Yeardley Love, a senior at the University of Virginia whose life was tragically cut short when she was killed by her ex-boyfriend. The family learned during the trial that her death could have been prevented had they recognized the signs of an abusive relationship. To date, One Love has educated, empowered, and activated over 100 million people with its compelling content.
