MADISON, N.J.- The Juniata women's lacrosse team fell, 16-1 in their first conference game of the season against Drew University.
The Rangers scored seven goals in the opening ten minutes as they took control early. Drew added another six goals before the end of the first half to go into halftime leading, 13-0.
Drew scored two more goals to start off the second half and added their final goal in the last five minutes of the game. With two minutes left in the game, Arielle Danchenko (Palm City, Fla. / South Fork) assisted Paige Riker (Sussex, N.J. / Vernon Township) for the Eagles lone goal of the game.
Juniata will host King's (Pa.), Wednesday March 27th at 5:00PM.
