River Hawks Fly Past Eagles

HUNTINGDON, Pa.-The Juniata women's lacrosse team lost to Susquehanna, 18-3, Wednesday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium. 

The River Hawks scored the opening three goals before Lauren Rowe (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) found Natalie Gibson (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) for the Eagles first goal of the game. 

Susquehanna scored the next 15 goals as they took control of the game 

With under four minutes left in the contest, Rowe scored off a pass from Arielle Danchenko (Palm City, Fla./South Fork) before Kylie Edwards (Danville, Pa./Danville) took the ball from behind the goal and fired a shot past the keeper.

The Eagles will host Elizabethtown, Saturday at 1:00.
