  • Men's Basketball Earns NABC Team Academic Award For Third Straight Year

    KANSAS CITY, MO- The Juniata men's basketball team is one of 132 colleges and universities around the country to receive the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award. This is the fourth year that these awards have been given out and the third straight year that the Eagles have been bestowed with this honor.
  • Three Men’s Basketball Players Named to NABC Honors Court

    KANSAS CITY, MO.- Three members of the Juniata men’s basketball team have been named to the 2015-16 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. They are Trevor Clune (Meadville, Pa./Meadville Area), Dennis Fisher (Bellefonte, Pa./Bald Eagle Area), and Nate Ogle (Falls Church Va./George Mason). This is the second straight year that Ogle has been honored.
  • 2016-17 Men’s Basketball Incoming Class Announced

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Six players will join the Juniata men’s basketball team for the 2016-17 season. They will join 13 returners for an Eagles team coming off a 16-11 2015-16 campaign and an appearance in the Landmark Conference semifinals.
  • Juniata Men’s Basketball Day Camp Early Bird Registration Now Taking Place

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – 'Early Bird' registration for Juniata men's basketball annual day camp is currently taking place. From now until July 1, the fee is $160 and includes daily lunch and a camp T-shirt. The cost for registration after July 1 is $185 and multiple-camper discounts are available.
  • Late Lead Slips Away as Eagles Fall to Bulldogs in ECAC South Tournament

    CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Juniata and DeSales men’s basketball teams met in the opening round of the ECAC South Tournament on Wednesday night at the Bulldogs’ Billera Hall. Juniata had an eight point lead late in the second half but host DeSales went on a 14-0 run to go ahead and went on to defeat the Eagles by the score of 72-66.
  • Lee Named to Landmark Men’s Basketball First Team

    TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference announced its men’s basketball end of the season awards on Tuesday. Juniata sophomore center/forward Marcus Lee (Carrolltown, Pa./Bishop Carroll) was selected to the First Team. He is the fourth player in Eagle history to earn First Team honors joining former players Brian Cannon, Brian Scholly, and Jeremy Hays.
  • Men’s Basketball Selected For ECAC South Tournament

    DANBURY, Conn.- The Juniata men’s basketball team will have the opportunity to extend their season by at least one game. The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced that eight teams will participate in the ECAC South Championship Tournament. The Eagles have been selected as the eighth seed and will play first seed DeSales on Wednesday in Center Valley, Pa.
  • Juniata Falls to Catholic 79-66 in Landmark Semifinals

    WASHINGTON, D.C.- A 10-0 run late in the second half by Catholic gave the Cardinals a lead they would not let up as the Juniata men’s basketball was downed 79-66 in the Landmark Semifinals on Wednesday night at the Dufour Athletic Center. CUA sank 13 free throws in the final three minutes to seal the game.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s basketball team makes a return to the Landmark Conference Tournament this Wednesday when they travel to Washington, D.C. to take on Catholic. It is the Eagles’ first appearance in the Landmark playoffs in three years.

    BETHLEHELM, Pa.- Needing a victory to clinch a spot in the Landmark Tournament, the Juniata men’s basketball team stepped up to the challenge. Four of five starters reached double-digit figures as the Eagles defeated Moravian 67-58 to secure fourth place in the conference and punch their ticket to the playoffs.

    WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Juniata men’s basketball team ran into a sharp shooting Catholic squad as the Cardinals defeated the Eagles 83-60 on Wednesday night. The win puts CUA (18-5) in a tie for first place in the Landmark with a record of 11-3 while the Eagles (15-9) remain in fourth place with a mark of 8-7.
  • Solid Effort Gives Men’s Hoops 86-69 Victory over Merchant Marine on Senior Day

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Five Eagles reached double figures as the men’s basketball teams halted its four game winless streak with an 86-69 win over Merchant Marine on Saturday afternoon. The victory improves Juniata’s record to 15-8 overall and 8-6 in the Landmark. For JC, it is the first sweep over the Mariners since the Eagles joined the conference in 2007.
  • Key Second Half Scranton Run Gives Royals 84-71 Win Over Juniata

    SCRANTON, Pa.- Host Scranton used a big run early in the second half to take a lead it would not let go as they defeated Juniata 84-71 on Saturday afternoon at the John Long Center. The loss drops the Eagles to 14-8 overall and 7-6 in the Landmark Conference. The Royals improve to 16-5 overall and 9-4 in the league.
  • #18 Susquehanna Escapes With 74-71 Win Over Juniata

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- A three-point play by visiting Susquehanna put the Crusaders ahead by three points with just over six seconds left to play as SU held on to a 74-71 win over Juniata on Wednesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. Justin Fleming’s (Richmond, Va./Benedictine College Prep) potential game-tying three-point shot at the buzzer hit off the rim in the waning seconds.

    MADISON, N.J.- The Juniata men’s basketball team recovered from a first half deficit to force overtime and held a lead in the extra period but host Drew battled back to go ahead in the final seconds as the Rangers held off the Eagles 79-78 on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops Juniata to 14-6 overall and 7-4 in the Landmark Conference.

    TOWSON, Md.- Juniata had a double-digit lead late in the first but host Goucher battled back as the Gophers won 60-54 over the Eagles on Wednesday night at the Decker Sports and Rec Center. The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for JC as their record now stands at 14-5 overall and 7-3 in the Landmark.
  • Men’s Hoops Defeats Moravian 79-62 Behind Lee’s 26 Points

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- After being pushed back two days, the Juniata and Moravian men’s basketball teams finally got together on Monday night at Memorial Gymnasium. Marcus Lee (Carroltown, Pa./Bishop Carroll) scored a season-high 26 points as the Eagles took care of the Greyhounds with a 79-62 victory.
  • Curley Notches 200th Career Win as Eagles Defeat Cardinals

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- A combination of a pressuring defense and timely offense proved to be a winning formula for the Juniata men’s basketball team as they defeated visiting Catholic 79-67 on Wednesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The win was significant for Juniata head coach Greg Curley as it was the 200th victory of his career.
  • Eagles Turn in Big Effort Against Mariners With 85-67 Victory

    KINGS POINT, N.Y.- Playing at a place that they have not had much success at, the Juniata men’s basketball team turned one of its best performances of the season. The Eagles had four players score in double figures and recorded season highs in overall and three-point percentage as Juniata won 85-67 on Saturday afternoon at Liebertz Gym. It is Juniata’s first win in Kings Point since 2008.
  • Eagles Clipped by #11 Crusaders, 60-55

    SELINSGROVE, Pa.- Juniata men’s basketball faced off against undefeated and #11 Susquehanna on Wednesday night at Houts Gymnasium. The Crusaders led by as much as 18 points early in the second half and the Eagles could not recover as they fell 60-55. The loss drops JC to 11-4 overall and 4-2 in the Landmark. SU remains perfect at 15-0 and 6-0 in the conference.

    ST. DAVIDS, Pa.- The Juniata men’s basketball team held a 15 point lead late in the first half but host Eastern came back with a big rally as they knocked off JC 73-68 on Saturday afternoon. The loss gives Juniata a record of 11-3 while Eastern improves to 7-6.
  • Big Second Half Effort Gives Juniata Men 60-46 Win at E-Town

    ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Juniata men’s basketball team trailed at halftime but used a big run in the second half to win 60-46 at Elizabethtown on Thursday night. The Eagles sweep the season series from the Blue Jays for the first time since the 2006-07 season when both teams were in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.

The Eagles’ 17-3 run gave them the lead they needed to push ahead and got another late run to come out with a 69-62 victory over the Gophers on Tuesday night at Memorial Gymnasium.
  • Drew Takes Landmark Battle with Juniata Men’s Hoops, 78-71

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s basketball team returned the court after a two week hiatus as it faced Drew at Memorial Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Rangers led for all but 36 seconds of the game as they held off the Eagles 78-71. The loss now gives Juniata an overall record of 9-2 and 2-1 in the Landmark. Drew improves to 6-5 and 3-0 in the conference.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s basketball team hosted its final game of 2015 on Saturday afternoon against Pitt-Bradford. The Eagles used a big run in the second half to overtake the Panthers and come out with a 63-51 victory. JC improves its record to 9-1 overall while Pitt-Bradford falls to 2-6.
  • Randolph Claims Doc Greene Title With 65-53 Win Over Juniata

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata led 34-20 after the first half but visiting Randolph outscored the Eagles 45-19 in the second frame as the Wildcats won 65-53 to claim the 24th annual Doc Greene Tournament at Memorial Gymnasium. JC falls from the ranks of the unbeaten as their record goes to 8-1 while Randolph improves to 7-1.
  • Juniata Outlasts Penn State York 71-61 At Doc Greene Tournament

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata found itself in a tough battle with Penn State York in the second game of the Doc Greene Tournament on Friday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The two teams were tied at halftime but the Eagles used a big run in the second half to get past the Lions 71-61. Juniata remains undefeated at 8-0.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata faced one of its toughest tasks of the young season as it faced defending Landmark Champion Scranton on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gym. The Eagles led by as much as 13 points and had to hold off a late Royals rally in the end as they won 54-52 to remained undefeated at 7-0. Juniata is also 2-0 in conference.
  • Eagles Take Down Blue Jays 63-47 For Historic Win

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Marcus Lee (Carrolltown, Pa./Bishop Carroll) and Brandon Martinazzi (Cresson, Pa./Bishop Carroll) combined for 43 points as Juniata kept its winning streak going with a 63-47 victory over Elizabethtown on Wednesday night at Memorial Gym. It was the Landmark Conference opener for both teams.
