Lee Named to Landmark Men’s Basketball First Team

TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference announced its Men's Basketball end of the season awards on Tuesday. Juniata sophomore center/forward Marcus Lee (Carrolltown, Pa./Bishop Carroll) was selected to the First Team. He is the fourth player in Eagle history to earn First Team honors joining former players Brian Cannon, Brian Scholly, and Jeremy Hays.

 

In his second season with the Eagles, Lee started all 26 games and averaged just over 30 minutes per contest. He reached double figures in all but one game. He has scored 20+ points in eight games and leads JC in scoring for the second straight season. He matched his career high of 26 points twice this season.

 

Lee averaged 16.8 points per game to rank seventh in the Landmark. His 51.7 field goal percentage is eighth in the conference. He was also the Eagles' leading rebounder with an average of 6.2 boards per contest, which puts him in ninth in the Landmark.

 

Juniata will play DeSales in the first round of the ECAC South Tournament. The game will take place at the Bulldogs' Billera Hall at 7:30 p.m.
