Eagles Leading Landmark President’s Cup Standings After Fall

Eagles Leading Landmark President’s Cup Standings After Fall

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – After one of its most successful fall seasons in school history, Juniata College athletics leads the Landmark Conference President’s Cup standings with 40.5 points.  The total is eight points higher than where the Eagles were after last fall and one point ahead of Susquehanna University.

“It’s exciting,” said Director of Athletics Greg Curly.  “It’s great to see the excitement on campus.  I think it’s really neat when everybody does it together. I was most proud of seeing a lot of people excited for each other.  Student-athletes are supporting each other and the success of not only the individual teams or our athletics department, but also Juniata as a whole.”

The Eagles were the only program in the Landmark to qualify for all four team tournaments.  They won the women’s volleyball title for the seventh consecutive year and finished second in men’s cross country and men’s soccer.

“I think it’s a real credit to Juniata, to the support the administration has shown our department, and the type of student-athletes, coaches and support staff we have here,” added Curley.
