Women's Golf Finishes Strong at Landmark Championships

Delaware, Pa.- The Juniata Women's Golf team finished up their second season under head coach Robb Ritchey in seventh place in the Landmark Conference at the Landmark Conference Championships hosted by Drew University at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Delaware, Pa.

Sofia Amoroso finished with an 87 on the day complete with five straight pars on the front nine good for a five-over finish on the front nine. Amoroso completes her grad year and fifth appearance at the Landmark Conference Championships as the winningest golfer in Juniata Women's Golf history. Kylee Marshall finished with a 99 after 18 holes on day two. Marshall finished with a par to cap off her first season at Juniata in which she cemented herself as a key contributor. Samantha Hall makes her first and last appearance at the Landmark Conference Championships as a Senior for Juniata shooting 154. Hall joined the team for the spring and quickly demonstrated great potential and was able to parlay that into an appearance in multiple events in the spring. Sandy Milby finishes her Junior year for the Eagles shooting 119 through 18 holes in more favorable conditions on day 2. Lily Stewart finishes her first year with a 102 at Landmarks after playing every event.

Robb Ritchey led his squad to a 407 on day two at Landmarks. Great improvement was seen from the Eagles throughout the year as they battled on the course. Next year more improvement can be expected from this Eagles squad.
