HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) is enlisting the help of its fans to determine the MAC-100 All-Century Teams. The nominees for the winter sports teams have been released and fan voting is currently open online. Juniata fans can help some of their favorites get recognized for their accomplishments. The Eagles have nominees in men and women’s basketball, men and women’s swimming and men’s wrestling.
Men’s basketball has the most Juniata nominees at eight and current women’s basketball head coach Danny Young-Uhrich is included in the women’s seven nominees. Women’s swimming earned three nods while men’s swimming and men’s wrestling each had one, respectively.
Nominees are compiled at the MAC office through records of All-Conference and All-American awards.
Each sport is broken down into eras. Voting is open until March 8 at 11:59 p.m. and is limited to one vote per sport era for each electronic device. Meaning, fans can vote more than once, but only from a different device like a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
