Foley, Pavlik Claim Additional Major Awards as Four Eagles Make All-ECAC Team

DANBURY, Con.- The Juniata women's volleyball team was well-represented on the Eastern College Athletic Association's 2024 Division III Women's Volleyball All-ECAC Team. Olivia Foley was named Offensive Player of the Year and was joined on the first team by Mackenzie Coley. Kiona Sky Rousset Hernandez and Kennedy Christy were named to the second team. Head Coach Heather Pavlik was named Coach of the Year. 

Foley has loaded up on awards this year as she adds ECAC Offensive Player of the Year and the All-ECAC First Team, along with American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Year, AVCA First Team All-American, AVCA Region 5 Player of the Year, AVCA All-Region, Landmark Player of the Year, and Landmark All-Conference First Team. She was also named to the NCAA Huntingdon, PA Regional All-Tournament team and the NCAA Salem, Va. All-Tournament team. She was also named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District team. 

She had 1125 assists, 279 digs, 49 kills, 34 assists, and 27 blocks on the year and finished first in the country in assists per set at 11.84.  

Coley had a very decorated campaign and added an all-ECAC first-team nod to being an AVCA First Team All-American, AVCA All-Region, and an all-conference first-team selection. She also was the MVP of the Huntingdon, Pa. regional and the Landmark Championship and made the NCAA Salem, Va. All-Tournament team. She was also named Landmark Senior Scholar Athlete and the CSC Academic All-District team. 

She totaled 354 kills while hitting .417 with 55 total blocks and ten aces; she finished fourth in the country in hitting percentage.  

Christy had her most decorated season as an Eagle, adding an all-ECAC second-team selection to being named an AVCA First Team All-American, AVCA All-Region, and all-conference first team. She was also named the Most Outstanding Player at the final site in Salem, Va. She was also named to the CSC Academic All-District team.

She amassed 271 kills while hitting .257 to go with 246 digs, 42 aces, and 27 blocks.  

Rousset-Hernandez had another exceptional season, adding an all-ECAC second-team selection after being an AVCA First Team All-American, an AVCA All-Region selection, the Landmark Conference Specialist of the Year, and an all-conference first-teamer. She was also named to the NCAA Huntingdon, PA Regional All-Tournament team, and the NCAA Salem, Va. All-Tournament team.  

She put up 491 digs, 108 assists, and 66 aces. 

Pavlik adds ECAC Coach of the Year to an accolade list that includes AVCA National Coach of the Year, AVCA Region 5 Coach of the Year, and Landmark Coach of the Year. 

She led the team to its third consecutive NCAA National Championship, which is part of a 97-match winning streak. Sixteen of the wins came over nationally ranked teams, and 29 of the wins were via sweep.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
