Eagles Soar Over Warriors 3-0

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata's women's volleyball team hosted the Lycoming College Warriors in a conference matchup on Tuesday night, and won in a 3-0 sweep.

The match started in Lycoming's favor, as the Eagles didn't gain a lead until nearly 20 points into the first set. At 10-9, the Eagles were in the midst of a 10-1 run which gave them a big six point cusion and relieved much of the Warriors' pressure. Despite a strong fight from Lycoming, the Eagles would go on another six point streak later in the set to eventually win it 25-14 on a Lycoming service error.

Set two began more how the Eagles expected, as they held a 9-1 lead after the first ten points. This time the final point came from a kill by Emily Farrell
