TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's volleyball standout Olivia Foley was named Landmark Athlete of the Work after helping the Eagles to a pair of victories this past week over Ohio Northern 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-13) and Swarthmore 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-15).
Foley averaged 12.17 assists per set (73) to go with 14 digs, five kills, four aces and three blocks on the weekend. As a team, the Eagles hit .397 across the two matches.
The wins extended the Eagles' winning streak to 67, breaking the NCAA Division III record for consecutive wins.
This is the second week in a row an Eagle has won athlete of the week, with Kennedy Christy winning this award and Kiona Sky Rousset-Hernandez winning defensive athlete of the week last week.
Juniata returns to action next Friday in hostile territory as they will take on #2 Hope, the team they upended in the National Championship last year, in Holland, Michigan, at 6:30.
