Women's Track and Field Secures ECAC Championship

Towson, MD – The 2025 Juniata women's track and field team won the ECAC Championship hosted by Goucher College on Wednesday afternoon. Gracie French was named as MVP of the meet, scoring 21.25 points and posting top-four finishes in three sprint events and contributing to two scoring relays, helping power the Juniata women's track and field team at the ECAC Track and Field Championships.

French had a standout individual performance, placing third in the 200 meters (26.31), fourth in the 100 meters (12.77 PR), and third in the 100-meter hurdles (17.19 PR). She also added points with a sixth-place finish in the long jump (4.85m) and ran legs on both the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays.

In the throws, Chloe Sauer was a consistent presence, finishing second in the discus (33.96m), third in the shot put (10.34m), and third in the hammer (37.77m). Emma Coolidge led the way in the javelin, winning the event with a mark of 38.31m, and placing fourth in the shot put (10.02m) and sixth in the hammer (32.12m).

Camille McRoberts continued her distance dominance, earning silver in the 1500 meters (5:11.17) and bronze in the 800 meters (2:28.82). Olivia Brenneman secured a win in the 5000 meters in 21:11.04.

Juniata earned two podium finishes in the high jump, with Haley Mummah and Josie Kelly both clearing 1.38 meters (4-6.25) for third and fourth, respectively. Kelly also scored in the 100m hurdles (5th), long jump (11th), javelin (10th), and pole vault (6th), capping a busy meet.

Jackie Bryant took third in the triple jump (10.09m) and scored in the 400 meters, while Rebecca Christophel clocked a personal record 1:02.14 in the 400 to take sixth.

All three relay teams delivered strong results. The 4x800-meter team earned the Eagles' lone relay win, posting a season-best 10:46.29. The 4x100 squad of Bri Spencer, Olivia Barbacci, French, and Kelly placed third in 51.21, while the 4x400 quartet of Christophel, Bryant, French, and Barbacci crossed fourth in 4:12.88.
