LANCASTER, Pa. – The women's track and field team traveled to Franklin and Marshall Friday to compete in the 2022 Mini-Dip Invitational.
Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg HS) placed 20th in weight throw with a mark of 10.44 meters and placed sixth in shot put with a mark of 11.25 meters. Correia's shot put mark put her in fourth overall in Juniata history.
In long jump, Kaylyn Walters (Port Royal, Pa. / Juniata HS) placed 17th with a mark of 4.03 meters while placing 10th in triple jump with a mark of 9.17 meters. Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde HS) placed fourth in the 5000 meter with a time of 19:28.94. In the 500 meter, Rebecca Christophel (Three Springs, Pa. / Southern Huntingdon HS) placed seventh with a time of 1:30.12 and placed 17th in the 300 meter with a time of 48.38.
The women's track and field team travels to Susquehanna on February 12 next.
